Brand names can cover many different products. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Oily Skin Cleanser, for example, are separate products in our collection. CeraVe Moisturising Cream and Moisturising Lotion also have different product names and pack formats.
Read the skin-type line.
Our product pages repeat the skin type shown on the supplied label where it is readable. That label is a useful comparison point, but it is not a personal assessment of your skin. Ask a qualified professional if you need advice about a skin condition or product suitability.
Check size and version.
A 340 g cream tub is different from the tube labelled 177 ml / 170 g. A photo can show the general product, while the available batch may use another label or size. Ask for a current pack photo when the exact version matters.
Look at ingredients and instructions together.
A front label highlights only a few ingredients. Request the full ingredient list and directions on the actual pack before deciding. Check precautions and follow the manufacturer’s directions rather than treating a short website description as instructions.
